COVID Happened

It's been a while since I last posted on this blog. More than 5 years have passed since last time I posted anything here. Life happened and just recently, COVID happened. This is why I now have some time to post on this blog. Like I have previously wanted to do, I want to post anything and everything about my hometown. I hope I would be able to do just that in the coming days.

So far, with COVID, I would not be able to do much about roaming around the city. But Food Panda is now available in Dagupan. This is something I want to look into writing about as well. I want to write about so many things and I hope I can be productive this time.

See you around!

Have you heard about the “Bloggys 2015”?

I have had this blog for almost three years. I wanted to write as much as I can about every day life in my hometown but life simply took me over these past few years. Since I had to juggle my career and being a mom to my wonderful baby boy, I never really got to do much writing about anything just yet. This will technically be my first blog in years since I started my blog.

Why did I begin to write again all of a sudden? Well, it's really because of the fact that I just read about Bloggys2015. It's something I've only heard of this past few days but it really got my attention.

For the longest time, I thought that writing a blog would just be about writing a diary of one's day to day life. To me, blogging, was supposed to be my outlet, a place where I can write down my thoughts, whenever I had the time. I started this blog to be able to do just that but I just never had the time to actually do it regularly. Whenever I felt like writing, my fatigue always took the better of me. I never really had that extra push to actually write about something because I doubt that anyone would even bother to read it anyway. It never occurred to me that blogging could mean so much more to others.

In case, like me, you have just recently heard about Bloggys, this is  an annual event where the country's top bloggers are awarded for their contribution to the internet world.

A lot of people now turn to the Internet for a number of things. In case you want to know something about baking, there will surely be a blog that can help you with your trouble. If, however, you want to know more about good financing and how to reduce your credits, there will also be a blog about that too! No matter what topic you might be interested in, there will be a blog that give you the information you need. This does not, however, mean that all blogs are informative. There are definitely some blogs that don't necessarily serve any specific purpose.

This is the reason why Bloggys2015 really caught my attention. This event aims to award informative blogs for the contribution they made to the online Philippine community. It is set to be held some time in November at the SMX Aura Convention Center in Taguig.

This will be a great opportunity for people like us, who often turn to online blogs for much needed information, to show our appreciation for our favorite bloggers. In fact, blog readers can now start nominating their favorites online by visiting www.bloggys.ph starting September 1, 2015.

All you have to do is visit the site and click the “I want to nominate” button come September 1. Then, the voting stage for all the finalists that were nominated beforehand will start on October 5. Once the voting is done, the Gala Night or the awarding ceremonies will then be held in November.

All in all, there will be thirteen judges in the event. All these judges are renowned in the online world. Some judges are the company managers and CEO’s of various websites like oDesk and other start-up online companies. So, voters are ensured that only the best bloggers will be able to satisfy the standards of the panel of judges.

If you visit www.bloggys.ph, you'll be able to check out all the judges in the event. You can also opt to volunteer for the event if you want to be involved in the production. In case you want to represent your own brand, you can also opt to sponsor the event. All the links are can be found in the site.

Don't forget to check out the website for more information!

Hello!

So, this is the deal. I have been in Manila for a good 10 years because even if I practically grew up in Dagupan City, Pangasinan, I became who I am when I was in Manila when I went there to study in college. Needless to say, I am back in my hometown and I am learning new things about my origin all over again. Sure, I pretty much know the traffic scheme in Manila better than I know Dagupan, but since I am back home, I intend to know its ins and outs because I am staying for good.
This blog is not just for me though, I want to write about my hometown and enlighten everyone about how great it is! I plan on taking visitors on a trip to Dagupan and help them see it the way I do. I had such a great time growing up here even if I didn't know it back then. And I know that this is a great place to start my family with my husband and baby.
So, everyone, you can expect a lot of information from this blog about Dagupan City and its finest! Aside from that, I will also be writing about how to go about in the different public offices in the city to help you out with your needs. Lastly, being a stay at home mom who loves to write, I will also be giving out information on how to earn money just by using the Internet.
I hope this would be the beginning of a wonderful blogging!
